East Tennessee State University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions is hosting the Tri-Cities College Fair, an event designed for college-bound students and their families to explore higher education opportunities.
The event draws participation from over 60 colleges and universities across the Southeast. The fair will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at Freedom Hall Civic Center, located at 1320 Pactolas Road in Johnson City.

The one-stop shop event is free and open to the public. Area high school students, prospective transfer students and their families are encouraged to attend, as representatives from regional two- and four-year institutions will be present. Attendees will be able to discuss and obtain information about the admissions process, scholarship opportunities, programs of study, life on campus and more.
“The college decision process is deeply personal, and every student deserves to feel confident and supported as they explore their options,” said Timothy Lewis, director for undergraduate recruitment at ETSU. “The Tri-Cities College Fair brings dozens of institutions directly to students and families, creating an environment where questions become clarity and possibilities turn into next steps. It's about transforming what can be an overwhelming process into an empowering experience.”
The Tri-Cities College Fair has partnered with StriveScan to make connecting with colleges fast and easy. Before the event, visit etsu.edu/tccf to build a free StriveScan profile and get a personalized barcode. The barcode can be scanned by chosen colleges to quickly share student information.
