At the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Annual Meeting in Grapevine, Texas, ETSU Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy faculty, staff, and a student made an impact on the national stage, demonstrating leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing pharmacy education across the country.
National recognitions:
• Dr. Katelyn Alexander was honored as an American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE) Top Reviewer.
• Dr. KariLynn Dowling-McClay was recognized as Gatton’s Teacher of the Year.
• Former Gatton Academic Fellow Dr. Tyler Melton was recognized as a Teacher of the Year for the University of Tennessee Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science.
Student recognition:
P2 Elizabeth Harrington graduated from the national Community Pharmacy Student Scholars Program, an initiative of the Academia-Community Transformation (ACT) Pharmacy Collaborative that prepares future leaders in community pharmacy practice. Elizabeth completed the program under the mentorship of Dr. Jeffrey Gray and practice mentor Dr. Spencer Pinney.
