In September, ETSU offered free applications for graduating high school seniors and transfer students across Tennessee. In October, out-of-state students will have the same opportunity.
Prospective first-year and transfer students living outside of Tennessee and interested in ETSU can apply for free during October.
Applicants should visit www.etsu.edu/admissions/free-app.php and use the code OOSFreeApp26 when filling out the application to waive the $25 fee. The code is valid until Oct. 31.
“ETSU is committed to providing options that make college affordable. We intentionally lowered our out-of-state tuition in an effort to extend that opportunity to students across our broader service region,” said Timothy Lewis, director for undergraduate recruitment at ETSU. “We’re excited to offer out-of-state students the chance to apply for free during the month of October. We hope this will spark interest and excitement about ETSU beyond Tennessee while showcasing what an affordable, high-quality education we provide.”
As undergraduate enrollment has grown, the university has earned major accolades for quality and affordability, as well as academic outcomes. Earlier this semester, the university welcomed more than 2,200 first-year students. It was the largest incoming class in ETSU history.
The opportunity to apply for free is open to domestic undergraduate students applying for first-year or transfer admission. For more information or support, contact ETSU Undergraduate Admissions at admissions@etsu.edu or (423) 439-4213.
