The East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that they will be accepting donations to assist with those impacted locally by Hurricane Helene.
On Tuesday, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., ETSU will be receiving donations in Lot 19 of William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium. Below is a list of recommended items for donations.
- Toiletries
- Water
- Non-perishable food items
- New clothes
- Cleaning supplies
- Laundry detergent
- Heavy duty trash bags
- N-95 Masks
On Wednesday afternoon, ETSU student-athletes and staff members will be visiting sites throughout the area to deliver the donations. In addition, ETSU Athletics will be donating cases of water and Gatorade and Buccaneer athletic apparel. ETSU is also partnering with BSN Sports, who is providing several boxes of new clothing.
ETSU, CHATTANOOGA TEAM UP TO HELP THOSE IMPACTED BY HURRICANE HELENE
ETSU initiated a partnership with Chattanooga to work together to collect more donations for the community at Saturday’s football game at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium. Fans can bring donations to the Food City Fan Zone in Lot 21, while bins will also be set up at the stadium entrances. The Chattanooga Athletics Department is also accepting donations this week and will be delivering those to ETSU’s campus on Saturday.

ETSU TO DONATE PROCEEDS FROM MEN’S BASKETBALL GAME TO GREENE COUNTY
When ETSU men’s basketball hosts Tusculum on Nov. 13 inside Freedom Hall, all single-game ticket sales will be donated to Greene County to help assist those affected by Hurricane Helene. Single-game tickets can be purchased by calling 423-439-3878.
