In September, ETSU offered free applications for graduating high school seniors and transfer students across Tennessee. In October, out-of-state students will have the same opportunity.

Interested applicants should visit www.etsu.edu/admissions/free-app.php and use the code OOSFreeApp25 when filling out the application to waive the $25 fee. The code is valid until Oct. 31.

“ETSU is proud to provide options to make college affordable. We recently cut out-of-state tuition in half in an effort to extend that opportunity to as many students as possible,” said Heather Levesque, assistant vice president and executive director of Undergraduate Admissions. “We’re excited to invite out-of-state students to apply for free during the month of October, and hope this will build interest and excitement in ETSU beyond Tennessee, as well as highlight an affordable out-of-state education option.”

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, ETSU understands students and school districts impacted by the storm may have different needs with the college application timeline. The ETSU Undergraduate Admissions Office is committed to supporting those needs and working with impacted students so they can apply for free outside the October window.
