East Tennessee State University will be closed on Monday, February 2, due to winter road conditions. The university will follow operational “Plan C,” which is also found at etsu.edu/operations.

An exception to Plan C: On Monday, February 2, the first floor of Sherrod Library will be open from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Spring 2026 fee payment deadline

Payment for the spring 2026 semester is due on Monday, Feb. 2, by 4:30 p.m. Students needing assistance with payment while offices are closed may email reachout@etsu.edu. Staff will be available throughout the day regardless of weather conditions.

Withdrawal deadline adjusted

Due to tomorrow’s closure because of weather conditions, we have adjusted one key academic deadline. The last date to drop a class without a W has been extended to Tuesday, February 3.

Last date to add a class without dean approval will remain Monday, February 2nd at 4:30 p.m.
