East Tennessee State University is introducing the next generation of campus identification with the launch of Mobile BucID, giving students, faculty and staff a convenient way to use their official university identification credential directly from their mobile devices.

BucID serves as an official ETSU identification credential and provides access to many of the services and experiences that keep campus life moving. With Mobile BucID, users can tap an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch or Android device at campus readers to access approved locations and services.

Mobile BucID can be used for building access, dining and retail purchases, printing and copying, library services, campus recreation, event access and more. Students can also use the app to add funds to their account for purchases on campus and at participating off-campus locations.

To get started, users should download the GET Mobile app, ensure they have an approved photo on file and follow the setup instructions provided by Campus ID Services. Mobile BucID is available on iPhone, Apple Watch and eligible Android devices with NFC capability.
