The East Tennessee State University Office of University Marketing and Communications recently earned national and state recognition for its work.
Competing against colleges and universities of its size nationwide, ETSU took home four Collegiate Advertising Awards. These include:
- Gold: TV/Video Advertising/PSA for the Marching Bucs Hype Video, created by Montage Media.
- Silver: Annual Report for the 2022-23 ETSU Annual Report
- Silver: Newsletter Series for the BucWire email newsletter
- Bronze: Logos/Trademarks/Mascots for the Running Bucky 2.0 design
ETSU also earned state recognition at the Tennessee College Public Relations Association annual awards. The TCPRA awards include:
- Gold: Social Media for “Welcome to Buccaneer Land”
- Silver: College/Alumni Magazine, Electronic for the digital edition of the winter issue of ETSU Today
- Silver: Video Advertisement/PSA for “ETSU Values”
- Silver: Commentary for “Setting Up a Successful Comeback; Colleges Bring Value to Rural Communities”
- Bronze: Media Relations Campaign for the Climate Series
- Bronze: College Promotional Video for “Go Beyond the Classroom: ETSU x Creative Energy”
